Elderly Woman Attempts Suicide in Bus Shelter

ROOM FULL OF GAS. To find an elderly woman in the waiting-room of the Palmerston Worth Municipal ‘'bus shelter, with door and window closed and the Tcom full of gas, was the rather startling experience of the lady in charge yesterday morning. The woman was holding in her hand the gas tube from a small ring placed in the waiting-room for the convenience of mothers with children, and as she was suffering from the effects of the gas, she was removed to hospital.
