At Alfred, Ontario, Paul Baptiste Sauvo and. five of his children, aged two to .ten years, were burned to death to-day when a fire destroyed their farm homestead. Mrs. Sauve threw her infant daughter into the snow and jumped with her eldest sou, breaking both her logs. She may die.
