In replying to Lord Pnssiicid’s statement in the House of Lords that surplus cx-cnemy property already liquidated in Britain must be regarded as a closed account, the Association for tlic Dofcnco of German Victims’ Interests has issued a manifesto that unless the decision is reconsidered, there will be cause to believe that gold is of greater moment to Englishmen to day than considerations of fair play and reconciliation.
