Sells Readily at Feilding OTHER STOCK PRICES SOUND Over 300 head of dairy stock came forward at the Feilding stock sale yesterday and sold readily under the hammer. A total clearance was recorded at very satisfactory prices, springing cows realising up to £l6. There was a fair entry of medium to good quality fat sheep, which sold at market rates while store lines were a little easier with the exception of ewe hoggets, which commanded good prices, As usual, store cattle made a good sale at late rates. Following are the quotations: — Fat sheep: Hoggets, 19s 3d, 19s 6d, 19s Sd, 20s 3d, 20s 6d, 21s 6d, 21s 9d, 225, 22s 6d, 235, 255, 26s Id up to 335; wethers, 29s 2d, 30s, 31s 2d, 325, 34s Bd, 365, 36s 2d; ewes 25s 6d, 265, 27s 7d, 295, 31s lOd, 33s 5d to 33s 6d. Fat cattle: Cows, £5 17s 6d, £8 to £ll 7s; heifers, £9 15s, £lO, £lO 4s 6d, £lO 10s, £ll ss, £ll 10s to £l3 10s; bullocks £l2 10s. Store sheep: Ewe hoggets 26s 4d, 27s 9d, 30s 4d, 33s Id, 365; wether hoggets, 17s, 21e, 23s Bd, 24s 4d, 26s 3d to 275; b.f. hoggets, 12s 4d, 15s 3d, 16s 4d, 17s 6d, 18s, 19s, 20s, 20s 2d, to 21s 6d; m.s .hoggets 9s 2d to 255; svm. ewes in lamb (low conditioned) 18s 6d.'
