DAME JANET CAMPBELL

MISSION TO AUSTRALIA The Primo Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia recently requested the Minister of Health in Britain to liberate Dame Janet- Campbell, the senior medicai officer for maternity and child welfare at the Ministry of Health, to proceed to Australia to adviso the Government on the organisation and development of maternity and child welfare services for tho benefit of the several States of the Commonwealth. In view of the special importance of these services in tho interests of the Empire as a whole, tho Minister acceded to tho request and agreed to set Dame Janet Campbell free from her official duties for a limited time. She will probably leave England on this special mission toward the end of July.
