EXPLOSION ON SHIP AT WOOLOOMOOLOO
WRECKAGE PALLS ON ROOPS. United Press Association—By Lleetrll Telegraph —Copyright. Received Tuesday 8.30 p.m. SYDNEY, June 25. A terrific explosion on board the American motor ship Galvastcn, at Wooloomooloo wharf, shook tho vessel from stem to stern. A greaser nearby was badly burned. Men on the wharves thought the vessel would sink A small boiler on the upper deck backfired, a great sheet of flame shot up, and wreckage from the boilerroom fell on the roofs. There was the greatest excitement in the neighbourhood for many minutes.
