NO FLOOD DAMAGE. Members of tho Feilding Golf duff were able to use the links, with the exception of two holes on Saturday, as the flood waters had entirely subsided. The links have not, suffered through their temporary subthersion, but holes Nos. 3, 5 and 6 were very soft, play on the two last mentioned being prohibited. Tho river protection work, on which the club has spent a good deal of money, withstood the flooding very well. Players are reminded that tho first round of the president’s knock-out competition will commence on Saturday next.
