PANDEMONIUM AT ANTIVIVISECTION MEETING

Two hundred uproarious medical students created pandemonium at a Caxton hall meeting, at which supporters of tho abolition of vivisection were to speak. The chairman, Dr. Hawdcn, was shouted down. Singing and a free fight marked the proceedings till the interrupters were thrown out, some being taken to tho police station. Tho meeting closed with women screaming among the wrecked chairs. Police cleared tho street and the students marched off after they had prevented any speech-making to Trafalgar Square and ended the evening by dancing for half an hour in Piccadilly Circus, with straws iu their hair.
