BAY OF WHALES, May 20. Thcro has been a full week of dull weather, comparatively mild. The temperature, indeed, last night was o degrees above zero, a surprising rise, as the wind was not unusually strong. But no matter how moody and repellent the frozen world may be outside, it is warm and cheery in the houses. The days go very rapidly, and in less than a month Winter Day will be reached, and we can look ahead to tho return of tho sun.
