Bunnythorpe.

From Our 0?r» Correspondent. Mr and Mrs. Patience arrived in Bunnythorpe during the ivcck, Mr Patience having been appointed to the position of headmaster at the local school. The Hiwinui euchre club held a most successful evening on Friday, when Mrs. Wiggins and Mr Wilton were the prize winners. The ladies of the district, provided supper. Mrs. J. Faulkner, who has sold her farm, is leaving Bunnythorpe shortly to reside in Palmerston North. Another of our oldest residents, Mr G. M. Hanson, with his wife and daughters, is also leaving us. Mr and Mrs. Hanson ami family will bo greatly missed, as they have been ever ready to assist ia any movement for the welfare of the district, while the Masses llanson have been the life and soul of the girls’ sports clubs here. They also intend !o live in Palmerston North, while Mr llanson Jur. will take over his father’s farm.
