The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report haling conducted a clearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on account of Air. W. .1). F. Locked, at tho farm, Levin, on Wednesday, 22nd. inst. There was a large attendance of buyers and the herd of cows, although, of no particular breed, were high producers and in excellent condition and net with good competition. Implements, furniture and a large assortment of odds and ends sold well.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., l’almerslon North, report holding their usual fortnightly sale at Tailiapc on Wednesday, May 22, when a fair yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle came forward.
