FEILDING PRICES. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report, having' yarded a. fair entry of both sheep and rattle at this listure. Although the market was inclined to bo a little easier, we quitted the bulk of our yarding at quite satisfactory prices. A special entry of 423 2-th. wethers on account of Mrs. 8. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report haling conducted a clearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on account of Air. W. .1). F. Locked, at tho farm, Levin, on Wednesday, 22nd. inst. There was a large attendance of buyers and the herd of cows, although, of no particular breed, were high producers and in excellent condition and net with good competition. Best cows sold from £1.3 to £2l, medium £l2 to £ll, sc\ oral three-quartered and late culvers £9 to £l4. The whole herd including the three-quartered cows averaged £l4 os. Implements, furniture and a large assortment of odds and ends sold well.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., l’almerslon North, report holding their usual fortnightly sale at Tailiapc on Wednesday, May 22, when a fair yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle came forward. A total clearance was effected at the following prices:— Sheep: Small wether lambs, 13/-; ivether lambs, 17/10; b.f. lambs, 15/1); 2lootli weihers, 30/2; 4 and syr good ewes r.w. 8.1). rams, 30/0".
