On Thursday evening, members of All Saints’ Young Alen’s club arc holding a social and dance in the Anzac club. An energetic committee is working hard to ensure the success of the evening and undoubtedly no stone will bo left unturned to provide a splendid evening’s enjoyment. Cater ’a orchestra will provide the very latest music for dancing, and for the non-dancers there u'-' vc tournament, with good prizes. The function is in aid of the .miming luiul of the Young Alen’s club room and it should meet with a ready support. To-night in the Oddfellows' ■ hall, Cuba street, the Social club will hold its usual weekly function when intending patrons are assured of a good evening’s entertainment. Increasing attendance is a sure sign of public approval, so patrons arc asked to bo early. Supper, as usual will be provided and .day commences at 8 o’clock sharp.
