£3,000,000 ELECTRICAL LOAN ISSUE IN ENGLAND
POWER DEVELOPMENT.

A loan to bo issued by the Bank of England on behalf of'the Central Electricity Board was underwritten to-day. The amount will be for £3,000,000, to be offered at 83, and will be devotod to forwarding tho schemes of the Electricity board, which was set up to co-ordinate and develop tho electric supply of this country.
