MANAWATU GORGE ROAD
DEPUTATION TO MINISTER TO-DAY. Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., has received word from Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Public Works, that he will bo receiving a deputation from local bodies interested in the Manawatu Gorge road at the PaLmerston North Borough Council chambers to-day at 2 p.m. Mr. Ransom regrets that on account of engagements in Woodville and Dannevirke later iu the afternoon it will not be possible for him to attend to other business in Palmerston North.
