Rongotea

A meeting of the Rongotea Boxing club was held in the hall on Monday evening. Mr A. Trenkner presided over a large attendance. It was decided to hold a tournament at Rongoica on Wednesday, June 12. The following committee was elected to arrange for trophies: Messrs 0. Imrie, A. 0. Fades, W. Gust, E. J. Arnott aud L. l’oiipard; doorkeepers, Mr 0. Imrie and Mr Will. Supper arrangements are to be left in the hands of Mr Trenkner. Mr Arnott is to arrange with Mr «T. McKelvie regarding timekeepers, and the matches are to be arranged by Messrs l’oupard and Arnott. The prices of admission will be 5/- all round, ladies to bo charged. The an nouneer will be Mr C. V. Ciochctto.
