NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
The dates set down for this most important Winter Show arc ISth., to 22nd. June, both dates inclusive. In conjunction with this event will be held the Annual Exhibition of the Manawatu Poultry Association, which has the finest accommodation for poultry, pigeons, and canaries in the Dominion. Associated with this show r will be the annual exhibitions of a number of specialists clubs, all tending to make the show the outstanding success that it warrants. Classes in the general schedule compriso horso competitions, dog trials, fat stock, field roots, and vegetables, fruit, honey, home cookery, needlework, and photography, entries for which close on June 4, 1929. The programme of entertainments for the week is a very comprehensive one, comprising football matches, ring competitions, a cabaret, and various side shows usually associated with such an event. Anyone desiring a schedule for either the Dairy Show or the Poultry Show, arc advised that one will be sent post free on application to the secretary, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
