From Our Own Correspondent. Football. At a meeting of the Horowhenua Rugby Union held on Tuesday night at Levin a letter was received from the Wellington Tramways Football club asking for a match on Monday, June 3. It was decided to hand the letter to the Foxton club to arrange for a match at Foxton on the day in question. Personal. Mr. C. Anderson, who is shortly leaving Foxton to take up an appointment at Eactiki, was on Friday made the recipient of a leather suitcase by the manager and staff of the C. M. Ross Co. Ltd., when best wishes were conveyed to Mr. Anderson for his future prosperity.
