MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. At noou to-day, nominations for tiro Feilding Municipal elections will close and the supplementary electors’ volt will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Tire Town Clerk (Mr. N. C. Harding) mentioned yesterday that it was surprising to note tho large number of people who are not on the roll. All residents of the borough should take this last opportunity to enrol. The Nominations. The nominations received yesterday were as follow: Mayor: Mr. C. E. Taylor. Council: Messrs. T. Collins, J. C. Hill, H. Stewart, E. Fair and S. D. Pearce. Power Board: Mr. J. S. Tingey. Hospital Board: Mr. Y. E. Smith. Foxton Harbour Board: Mr. A. J. Kellow. The remainder of the nominations are expected this morning. It is understood that Mr. F. G. Guy wil contest the Power Board scat and it is stated that some new blood will enter the contest for scats on the Council.
