OBITUARY
MRS. A. DONALDSON - . With the passing away on Friday s ' last of Mrs. Annie Donaldson, the district has lost an old and highly respected citizen. ’ -. r Tho deceased lady arrived in New! Zealand as an infant nearly 70 years, ago with her parents, Mr. and Mrs/ John Page. The family settled fit Cust, North Canterbury. After her marriage to the late Mf. Samuel Donaldson, they took up farm- 5 ing operations at Longbeach, finally coming north some 25 years ago to tlj'fi Manawatu t 6 settle on a farming prop-' erty at Rangiotu. The late Mrs. Dop»i aldson was well-known and highly respected. Endowed with a kindly and a loving nature, she was over ready to visit a sick bed or assist anyone in distress. There are left to mourn her loss two daughters and three sons: Messrs; John Donaldson, farmer, of TurakinajThomas, farmer, of Rangiotu, and X, Donaldson. During the last six years, Mrs. Donaldson residod with her youngost son, Mr. I. Donaldson. The funeral was held yesterday.
