Lawson is a Wellington visitor to Feilding and is the guest of Mrs. J. C. Webster, Beattie street. Miss A. Cunningham, of Palmreston North, is also on a visit to Mrs. Webster. Madamo Rosina Beckman, the wellknown operatic and concert artist, who achieved early fame in New Zcftland, is successfully singing in Germany, appearing with leading artists at the Bach festival in Oberhauson.
