Messrs Knight and Jones discussed to-day whether Limerick should fulfil future engagements at Randwick and decided to await Limerick’s showing in the Chipping Norton stakes at Warwick Farm on Saturday. Limerick today covered eight furlongs with the flags out 70 feet in 1.48. Gcstos did six furlongs in 1.20,. tho fastest time this morning. Honour and Agrion did three furlongs attractively in 39 secs. McCartcn has been commissioned to ride Loquacious in the Doncaster handicap.
YEARLING SALES. BRISBANE, March. 21. At tho yearling sales the highest price, 775 guineas, was paid for a halfbrother to Eagazzo and Corimou, by High Force from the Syce marc Bam--pina. The purchaser is Mr. Lionel O’Hara. Two New Zealand fillies were passed in at 130 guineas each. C.J.C. MEETING. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Silver Paper has been rehandicapped 8.6 for the Great Easter Handicap, and Amor &7 for the Great Easter Handicap and 7.3 for the Great Autumn. Scratched: Footfall (2.45 p.m. yesterday) for all engagements at the C.J.C. autumn meeting. Commendation was scratched for all engagements at the Canterbury Jockey club’s autumn meeting at 11.40 a.m. to-day. BRIGHT GLOW AND SEAT OWN NOT REHANDICAPPED EOR AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Last Night.
