The following is an extract from tho annual report of the Palmerston North High Schools hoard of Governors, presented to the annual meeting last even 1 ing by the chairman, Mr W. E. Birnie: “Members will not accuse mo of invidious distinction when I single out Mrs. Aitehison for special mention and thanks. In every activity of the board our lady member has been of the greatest service to, mo as Chairman, in •particular, and to the board in general. In my opinion tho appointment of Mrs. Aitehison to the board was a'very excellent stroke of business.”
