Ltd... report on tlie sales of 'the -week as under:—There was a very fair entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle at the Taihapc sale on March 10, when competition -was keen for sheep and prices showed a decided advance on those previously ruling. Small lambs 12/-; M.S. lambs 19/-; ewe lambs 24/-; wolly ewe lambs 2S/-; cull ewes S/10; failing mouth ewes 16/-; M.A. ewes IS/7 to 23/S; 4 and 5yr. ewes 27/1, 27/3, 28/-, 28/9; 1-shear S.D. rams £6/6/-; wcancr steers 34/-; vealers £3/5/-; empty heifers £4/5/-; forward cows £5/S/-;-fat cows £B. Thcro was a good yarding of sheep at the Mangaweka sale on Thursday, March 14, when all lines changed hands with the exception of one small pen. Cull lambs 6/S, 7/-, 9/-; small lambs 30/-; small ewe lambs 17/3; b.f. shorn lambs 16/-; M.A. ewes 16/6, 19/2, 20/4, 21/-; 4 and 5-yr. ewes 22/9, 25/2, 26/-; 2-th ewes, small 27/3 to 32/11; 2-th wethers 26/6; 2 and 4-th wethers 27/9. There was a fair entry of sheep and a small entrv of cattle at the Feildiug sale on Friday, March 15. The demand for good breeding ewes was well sustained aud the market for lambs showed an improvement, while only a 'cry small penning of fats mine to hand.
