Weddings

JOHNSON-WAUGEL The marriage was solemnised in the Presbyterian Church, Feilding, on February 14, of Mollie, only daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. Waugh, Kimbolton, to Harry, youngest son of Mr and the late Mrs. W. D. Johnson, of Waituna West. The Rev. D. Macdonald officiated, and Mr. Matheson presided at tho organ. Tho bride, who entered the ckuTch on the arm of her father, wore a model frock of beige all-over lace with georgette hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and roses. Miss Jean Johnson, sister of the bridegroom, was chief bridesmaid, wearing a dainty frock of shell pink crepe do chino trimmed with cream lace and wore crinoline hat to match. Mis 3 Rene Darward, second bridesmaid wore a frock of saxe blue crepe do chine with skirt of deep champagne lace and crinoline hat. Both carried pretty bouquets of sweet peas and carnations, and wore a string of pearls, a gift of tho bridegroom. The bridegroom was assisted by Messrs. Stanley and Stewart Waugh, brothers of the bride. A reception was held in tho Carlton tearooms aftor which the happy couple left amid showers of confetti for a motor tour of the north.
