FLOWERS AND PRODUCE

FEILDING HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. Ou Friday next, the Feilding Horticultural Society will hold its autumn show, and the society reminds all interested to be liberal with their support, for the tixture. Entries in the past have not been all that could be desired. This apathy is discouraging to those who devote so much time to the society’s business and they are making a special appeal to obtain for the forthcoming show the utmost support. ’The schedule has been varied slightly to afford greater competition and special points prizes will bo allotted each section. If settlers of the district and the residents of the town rally round with their support the success of the show will bo assured. Amateur gardeners should note that their exhibits will be in a special class, or if they wish, they can offer exhibits for both the open and amateur classes. Schedules are obtainable from Mr. A. Dowrick, Feilding.
