STUD SHEEP SALE

WINGATE ROMNEYS DISPERSED, Notwithstanding the small attendance at the sale of purebred Romney Marsh sheep conducted at the Palmerston North Showgrounds yesterday on account of the estate of the late Mr. John Wingate, good prices were secured. Some years baek, sires were imported from the celebrated breeder, File, of Kent, and others used were from the famous Parorangi flock, tho late M. Voss, and, in addition, the son of Messrs Percey Bros.’ ram, which realised at auction, 350 guineas.
