HEDGE CATCHES FIRE

EXCELLENT WATER PRESSURE. A fire in a macrocarpa hedge on tho : residential property of Mr. Cunningham in Hoggitt street, on the outskirts of the Feilding borough on Saturday morning, was responsible for the brigade being called out. This fire provided the opportunity for testing the water pressure on the high level and it was satisfactory to note that the flow o. water was more than adequate to deal with tho fire, which was iu close proximity to the house. Tho damage was confined to the destruction of a small portion of the hedge.
