HINCHCLIFFE'S GHOST APPEARS BEFORE WIFE

Mrs. Hincheliffe, widow of Capt. Hincheliffe, who was lost in a transAtlantie flight with Hon. Elsie Mackay, described to a gathering of women the eerie night visit of her late husband. Sho said she and three friends, one of whom was a medium, wore awakened at the sound of heavy footsteps. It was just the same as when her husband used to leave the house early in the morning on flying duty, wearing his heavy flying boots. At a -subsequent seance, she questioned Capt. Hincheliffe, who said ho had been in the house and added that he was very busy impressing peoplo on earth with the value of aviation and instructing them. Mrs. Hincheliffe remarked to her audience that she had already noticed that several people interested in flyibg had taken np spiritualism, which she attributes to tho influence of her husband. Capt. Hincheliffe had said he had met a lot of the old crowd again, who had been killed in war-time. He had manifested himself, holding a large torch, the light of which fell on the faces of the sitters who saw him and signed & certificate to that effect.
