Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 22nd _ February, 1929 ;—‘ < Frozen meat quotations prices on a 'delivered’ basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.) — Down lamb 2S/42 9 5-Sd per lb.; best North Island 28/42 9 3-Bd. ordinary North Island 9 l-Bd, second quality lamb Sid, best, North Island wethers, 48/64 bid, 04/72, 54d, ordinary North Island wethers 48/04 6 3-Bd, North Island ewes 48/64 4|d, North Island eweso 64/72- 44d; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/220 4 5-Sd. As compared with last week’s quotations, Down and best North Island is Jd per lb. lower. Ordinary and second quality lamb l-8d por lb lower. Best wethers Jd per lb. lower, ordinary wethers l-8d per lb lower. Ewes unchanged. The market is weaker, owing to holders pressing sales.
