MANAWATU CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
SPOBTS ARRANGEMENTS. Tho committee of the Manawatu Caledonian Society met at Mr W. McKenzie’s rooms on Saturday night, when there were present Messrs D. Bt McEwen (president, in the chair), J. B. Anderson, J. Balsillie, J. Marshall. J. Hastings, W. Cruden, junr., G. Glendinning, F. Lucas, A. Anderson and Col. Bose.
Apologies were received from Messrs D. Munro, Jas. Ferguson, V. Christensen, C. D. Buchanan.
The programme for tho sports gathering on Easter Monday was framed, being much on t.ho same lines as last year. Two running events were added for ladies—7syds handicap and 100yds handicap. The following officials were appointed for tho sports gathering:—Starter, Mr F. W. Aisher; timekeeper, Mr. N.
