I n a Rugby match at Dublin in glorious weather, and in the presence of 40 000, Scotland beat Ireland 16—7. At Cardiff, in fine weather, but on a soft ground, Wales beat Franco B—3. Forty thousand persons witnessed the game. At Belfast in fine weather, hut on a soft ground, and in the presence of 35,000 spectators, Scotland beat Ireland at Soccer, 7 —3. At Selhurst Park, London, in a triangular Soccer tournament between the British, French and Belgian armies in the first match, British beat French, 5—4.
