FIRE AT WESTPORT. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, Last Night. A fire at 4 a.m. to-day gutted a house in Russell street, belonging to Mrs Gear and occupied by Mr and Mrs Thomas Commerford and family. The inmates made & hasty exit, Mr Comir.crford, who was collecting a few belongings, being caught in the bedroom when the fire broke into it. lie escaped through the window. Mr Commerford had no insurance on the furniture. It is understood £3OO was on the building.
