United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. Received Thursday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 20. A Miami message states that Stribling and Sharkey aro in the midst of strenuous training for their bout on February 27. Both men, however, have failed to impress observers in boxing with their partners, although both are avowedly working hard with a view, to the possibility of obtaining tho elimination championship. Sharkey boxed one round each against three partners i to-day. While fast on his feet, nevertheless he left himself open to his opponents’ body punishment. Stribling boxed two rounds each with two partners, showing lack of control of his left and was himself a mark for a right-hand punch to the jaw.
