From Our Own Correspondent, Dairy Factory Returns.
The Woodvillc Co-op. dairy factory’s pay-out for January is at the rate of Is 5d per lb. butter-fat. The total disbursement to supplies is £2637 2s ,10d. The average test was 4.332 and the season’s output is 92,9121b5., as against 92,1661b5. last year, being an increase of 7461b5. ■.
The Hopelands Co-op. Dairy Company’s pay-out for butter-fat is Is 6d per lb.; the disbursement to suppliers about £IBOO, and the average test 4.52. The season’s output is 27} tons, as against 22} tons for the corresponding period last year, being an increase of 5 tons. The butter is grading 94 points. The United Dairy Coy.'s pay-out tor January is Is 5d per lb. butter-fat. The season shows an increased output of 15 tons, as compared with last season. Last month’s pay-out by the Riverdale Co-op. Dairy Coy. is Is 4d per lb., after having paid a bonus of Is 10}d up to December 31. The season’s output to January 31 is 262 tons, as against 236 tons for the corresponding peiod last season, showing an increase of 26 tons.
