Held in Ideal Weather
The annual sports gathering of the Oroua Downs Sports Club was held yesterday in ideal weather on Mr Stratford’s grounds. The brilliant summer’s day and attractive programme induced a record crowd to patronise the function which was one of the most successful in the history of the club. At the conclusion, Mr J. Cameron, president, presented the eups and prizes. Tko duties of secretary were efficiently carried out by Mr R. Gates. Results are as follows:
