Fine Spell Breaking A depression is now crossing New Zealand, while a rather intense anticyclone is advancing across the central and southern Tasman. ■ A tropical cyclone is still centred south of Samoa and moving southwards shortly. The weather is becoming southerly generally with freshening seas, becoming rather rough south of Cape Egmont and East Cape. Moderate' elsewhere; fresh to strong southerlies and rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. The weather will be cloudy and unsettled, with scattered rain in most districts, especially in the eastern and northern, with thunder in parts of the North Island. Temperatures are becoming cooler.
