TERRACE END CLUB’S PERCENTAGE FOURS.

The .Terraco End Bowling club is one of the keenest in Palmerston North in catering for tho various sports attached to tho club, namely, bowling, tennis and croquet. The howling and tennis section has a very large membership, and every member is out to raise - the standard of play. The bowling section lias in hand an electric light tournament. This . will take place on Thursday and Friday, January 24th antt 25th commencing at 6.45 p.m. thi3 being open to all clubs. There is a large entry in consequence and is generally looked forward to by local players and visitors. On Saturday, the percentage fours took place, there being six rinks taking part. .Results were as follow:: Ashton, Lancaster, McLeod, Christensen (s) 21. defeated Cole, Baldwin, Winmett, Grant (s) 20. Childs, Rennctt, McGuvor, ■ O’Shea (s) 30 defeated Knowles, Helsby, Allen Gagliardi (s) 16. Simpson, Lichfield, Madden, Sparrow (s) 32 defeated A. J. Smith, McKinnon, Wood, Johnson (s) 12.
