At Toowoomba, whilo Mrs Edward Perkins, was crossing a railway line, her shoe heel became ivedged in the rail points. The crew of an oncoming train failed to notice her plight and frantic signals and she was killed. Her husband is manager of the Perkina brewery at Brisbane.
