About 5 p.m. to-day, Miss Laura Spratt, aged 22, of 40 Riddler’s crescent, was killed instantaneously through a bicycle on which she was double-bank-■ing with her brother being struck by a service car going from Mastcrton to Wellington and_ driven by Evan Smith. Both riders thrown a considerable distance, deceased receiving terrible injuries, but her brother escaped with a few bruises.
