MINISTERS TO INSPECT. Special to “ Times.” WELLINGTON, Last Night. Engineers’ surveys having been completed along the rival routes of th 3 Wairoa-Gisborne section of tho East Coast railway, the Government has to come to a decision whether the inland or coastal route will bo followed. It is understood there is a considerable difference in the cost in favour of the coastal alternative, but as settlement and other considerations arc of importance, Cabinet which discussed the matter to day decided that both routes be inspected by Hon. A. E. Ransom, Minister of Works, Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Lands, and Mr. Furkett, engineer in chiof of the Works Department, at an early date.
