Tho United States Shipping Board to-day opened and took under advisement bids for its eleven largest Govern-ment-owned liners, including tho Leviathan. The highest bid was from a Chicago banking firm of sixteen million dollars for all the vessels. The lowest bid was of six millions from the International Mercantile Marine. It is estimated the cost of replacement of these vessels would be 127,000,000 dollars.
