Sir John Cadrnan, a member of the Industrial Transference board, states that, by means of employment exchanges, nearly 700 men, boys and girls are now being moved away from the coalfields week to other employment in other places, and that 30U or *4OO more are moving on their own initiative. , Since the end of August, neaily 10,000 people have been moved by means of exchanges and, with few exceptions, they aro settling down to other work.
