England was all out for 305, Geary being bowled by Busbridge for a duck. Busbridge took three for 36, Moore three for 44. Bendigo was out for 16S: Thomas 63 not out, Porter 42, and Martin 25. No other player reached double figures. Larwood took six for 20, Hammond three for 40, Geary two for 28, Jardine one for 22. Thomas went in witli the first wicket down and played an excellent hand. England in the sceond inniDgs had lost tight for 173.
