Several Days of Unsettled Weather A deep and vigorous depression extends from beyond Tasmania to southern New Zealand. The pressure is rather high in northern New Zealand. Strong west to north-west winds, reaching gale force south of New Plymouth and Napier, will prevail. The seas will be rough south of Cape Egmont and offshore south of Castlepoint; elsewhere moderate to strong north-west-erly winds in the eastern Tasman sea, reaching gale force in the southern portion, rough seas in the southern portion and moderate to rather rough elsewhere. Tho weather will be cloudy and unsettled, with rain in most districts but more especially those with a westerly aspect where some heavy falls are “likely. Warm temperatures, especially in the eastern districts, but several days of unsettled weather are indicated.
