Miss Betty Woodward, of Hawke’s Bay, is tho guest of Mr. M. A. and Miss Conway, “Glenorchy,” Cheltenham.

The friends of Miss Maureen Walsh, who is in Nurse Chalmer’s private hospital, Feilding, suffering from pneumonia, will bo pleased to learn she is now progressing very favourably.

The engagement is announced of Eileen, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. P. H. Hubbard, of Masterton, to Maurice Walpole, elder son of Mrs. and tho lato Mr. A. P. Francis, "Houhere,” Pahikikoura.
