Mrs. A. A. Langley and family, of Palmerston North, are on a holiday visit to Paraparaumu.
Mrs. G. H. Humphrvs is a Palmerston North visitor to New Plymouth.
Mrs. Phil Broad, of Wellington, who lias been the guest of her mother, Mrs. J. Mounsey, Palmerston North, has returned home.
Mrs. Bateman, of Palmerston. North, is at present at Paekakariki.
Mrs. A. D. Donald and family, and Miss Joyce Suisted of Pahiatua, are spending a holiday at Day’s Bay.
Tho Misses Eileen and Betty Eliott left Feilding yesterday to spend a holiday in Tauranga.
Mr. and Mr?. C. V. Newton Broad and family, of Feilding, are spending the holidays at their seaside cottage, Tangimoana.
Miss Betty Woodward, of Hawke’s Bay, is tho guest of Mr. M. A. and Miss Conway, “Glenorchy,” Cheltenham.
The friends of Miss Maureen Walsh, who is in Nurse Chalmer’s private hospital, Feilding, suffering from pneumonia, will bo pleased to learn she is now progressing very favourably.
The engagement is announced of Eileen, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. P. H. Hubbard, of Masterton, to Maurice Walpole, elder son of Mrs. and tho lato Mr. A. P. Francis, "Houhere,” Pahikikoura.
