Miss Phyllis Patrick, of Musselburgh, who has recently been appointed relieving masseuse at tho Palmerston North Hospital, left Dunedin on Monday en route for Palmerston North. Mrs. C. F. Bennett and Miss Noreen Bennett have returned to Auckland from a visit to Palmerston North. Misa Doris Osborne, of Hastings, is paying a holiday visit to Palmerston North and Wanganui, Miss Gladys Havilland, who is on a motor tour round the world, will arrive iu Wellington on December 17 and Auckland oh December 28 (says a London cablegram). Miss E. Kibblewhite has tendered her resignation from the staff of the Central School and will be departing at the end of the month to undertake her new duties at Forbury. Sthool, Dunedin, where she has received promotion. At last nights meeting of the Central School committee general ' regret was expressed at the continued indisposition of Miss A. Watson and it resolved that a letter of sympathy be forwarded to her from the committee.
