SUCCESSFUL PLAIN AND FANCY DRESS DANCE

The perfect night, the gaily decorated and brilliantly lighted hall, and the throngs of happy guests all combined towards making a great success of the plain and fancy dress dance which was held in the Kiwitea hall or Friday evening. Beautiful shades of blue and golid were chosen for the hundreds of paper streamers which formed a novel and altogether pleasing decorative design of outstanding, merit, eclipsed only by the riot of colour when the dancers, arranged in all manner of costumes, took the floor. The committee and others who strived so earnestly for the success of the function, and whose splendid hospita.Ity did much towards the enjoyment of the ; guests, have every reason ta feel satisfied with such a successfu dance. The duties of M. ’s C. were capably performed by Messrs A. Bunt and C. Whiteman. Tho music was provided by Messrs J. Dawson and G Booth . (piano and violin), extras being played by Misses V.
