FIRE CAUSED BY GALE AT OAMARU

HOUSE AND CONSENTS DESTROYED. Per Press Association. OAMARU, Last Night, A six-roomed residence at Livingstone, owned by Mr. J. MacKenzie, was completely destroyed by fire yesterday. Fanned by tbo gale, the building was quickly engulfed in flames, The outbreak was caused by the wind stoving in the kitchen window and strong gusts blowing the fire from the range. Nothing was saved. The house was insured but the furniture was not covered.
