BRITISH RAILWAYS WANT £2,000,000 REDUCTION IN WAGES

It is reported the proposals involve about £2.000,000 off the railwaymen’s earnings. If there is no agreement the companies are likely to press their claims before the National Wage Board, a procedure many unionists prefer.
