GARAGE PROPRIETOR’S LOSS. Per Press Association. ■ CHRISTCHURCH,' Last Night. A loss of over £4OOO yr, as made by George «Wilcox, an Ashburton _ garage proprietor, in two ■ years’ trading. Investigation ipto his affairs was made by the Official Assignee at a meeting of creditors to-day. The biggest creditor was the Dominion Motors Ltd,, £4366, for whom Wilcox, had acted as Ashburton agent. After hearing the statement the Assignee said bankrupt’s failure was undoubtedly due to' mismanagement and extravagant living., - Mr Nicholls, appearing for the Dominion Motors,-said there had been gross ' extravagance , and bankrupt’s explanation was unsatisfactory. On his motion the meeting adjourned to enable the’ Assignee to investigate accounts furthelr. ' ' 4 ! >7-v .
